Sunrise Counseling is a group practice that provides mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults. Sunrise Counseling also offers faith integration for clients who desire that approach. Clinicians interested in these areas are encouraged to apply; however, clinicians are also encouraged to bring their own unique specialties to expand what the practice can offer to the community.

Below are a list of job openings we currently have available:

Licensed Therapist

Sunrise Counseling has an opening for a Licensed Clinician (Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Counselor, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker). This opportunity is open to qualified individuals seeking long-term employment in a growing private practice. Licensure to practice independently in the state of Texas is required. This position is currently part-time, two to three days a week, with a potential to transition to full-time if the clinician desires. Eligibility for enrollment with third party payors (i.e., insurance companies) is required. This is an employee position. Official start date is negotiable for this position. Compensation will be discussed at the time of the interview and will be commensurate with private practice earning potential.

Postdoctoral Fellowship

Sunrise Counseling is also offering one postdoctoral position for the next academic year. This Postdoctoral Fellowship is intended to provide the postdoctoral fellow with an opportunity for direct clinical service, regular professional supervision, and mentorship in practice building. This is an employee position. Applicants must hold a doctoral degree in psychology from an APA accredited program and have completed an APA accredited predoctoral internship prior to beginning this postdoctoral fellowship. Official start date is negotiable for this position. Compensation will be discussed at the time of the interview and will be commensurate with private practice earning potential.
